This course is designed  for further training  for working in care /nursing environment This course is work based, and comprises of 4 mandatory units and 5 optional units. Candidates will be expected to be working in the care /nursing environment and attend classes once a week. Candidates will be observed at their places of work as part of the assessment in obtaining  level 2 qualification.

It involves the application of knowledge and skills in a significant range of varied work activities such as health & safety, Nutrition & health and hygiene  performed in a variety of contexts. This level involves activities that are complex or non-routine and requires some individual responsibility and independence. Candidates will be afforded the opportunity of learning about the course through dialogue with qualified Assessors, Verifiers, Project Manager and NVQ Co-ordinator. who will guide throughout the programme.
